 Lara Lington went with her family to attend the funeral of their Great Aunt Sadie. What they don't know is there will be a guest mourner that day. The family gets together at the funeral home to pay respects when she hears a voice. The voice is Sadie. We know that ghosts only come back for one reason. There is something they want and Lara is chosen to fulfill Sadie's last request. What is Sadie's request?  Lara  is to find a necklace that her parents had given her. Sadie is insistent that Lara start on her quest as soon as possible regardless of what Lara is committed too. 

Lara has many adventures with Sadie through dating and changing relationships. Lara helps Sadie and she returns the favor inadvertently. Sadie helps with the business and stirring Lara in the right direction in her love life. The mystery is what happened to Sadie's inheritance? When Lara uncovers the answers she finds a family member holds the key.

I enjoyed this book. I didn't think that I would. I didn't really enjoy the Shopaholic series. I was pleasantly surprised with this book.
