Are You Ready to Jump Fire?

Image
Nora Robert’s novel Chasing Fire is one of the featured novels this year.   Do I have a great story for you! Synopsis: Rowan Tripp has known about jumping fire since she as was a baby.   Her father Ironman Trip led the way as a fire jumper.   Rowan also joined the Zulies unit in Missoula Montana.   Her last season ended with tragedy she lost her jump partner Jim Brayner to fire.   His girlfriend Dolly did not take it well and is expecting their baby.   A new season brings new hopes and prospects of new rookies.   Gulliver Curry is joining the Zulies for the first time.   He is known for his fast feet and catching the eye of Rowan Tripp.   Dolly comes back as well but is the past really the past with her?   Then the Zulies find out their equipment has been tampered with, what will happen the rest of the season?   Will Rowan and Gulliver survive? My Thoughts: Initially I didn’t know if I would love this novel or not.   I thought it had a little bit of a slow start.
