  I recently had the pleasure of meeting with author Kristy Cambron virtually.  She shared in this meeting we both attended about her desire to write about strong women.  Her readers will not be disappointed with this story.  Who wouldn’t want to read about bookstores?  This story takes place during the London Blitz during World War II. Gone Girl opens on the day of Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary, the very day wife Amy goes missing. The story begins with a light and breezy journal entry from Amy’s diary, in which she talks about “meeting a boy.” What follows is Nick’s first person narrative, a darker, more realistic look at the couple. Thank you to Thomas Nelson for giving me a copy of Sister Dear in exchange for an honest review. I have followed Laura’s career as a writer from the beginning. Her books have always been enjoyable and have been great reads!  The story in Sister Dear is different from the past but in such a good way. Synopsis: Allie Marshall is getting her release from prison, and her freedom back.   Once she is out she can go about investigating who really committed the murder she went to prison for?  This crime has cost her ten years of her life.  Allie has no relationship with her daughter Caroline.  Her only visitor has been her sister Emma.  What happened?  Will Allie find the answers she is looking for and prove her innocence? Will Caroline be willing to give her mother another chance?
