I recently committed to do a bible study at the church I have been attending recently in John’s Creek Georgia. I have read passages in Hebrews from the bible, but I had never studied it in a bible study. Lisa Harper 's Hebrews THE NEARNESS OF KING JESUS is the first study I have done with her. I gathered with a group of ladies that were also new to the church to begin this short six week bible study. I have featured other bible study teachers such as: Beth Moore, Elizabeth George, Jen Hatmaker, and Priscilla Shirer. So Lisa’s style is new to me. I found her teaching style to be humorous but also very pointed. The teaching seasons are brief lasting no longer than 30 to 40 minutes at the most. Some other teachers can last longer than that. I am not naming names here but if you have experience with these teachers then you know who I am talking about. The sessions cover various chapters of Hebrews. When I was diagnosed with cancer my hashtag was #ToFightStrong.  So how do you fight strong?  Last summer I was invited to take part in the Lifeway Women’s Ministry summer bible study on their website. This study was Priscilla Shirer’s Armor of God.   It focuses on the Ephesians 6:10-20 describe the armor of God. “10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we[d] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Last summer, I was invited to take part in a summer bible study with Lifeway Women’s ministry.  The study was Seamless by Angie Smith.  The bible study is formatted in six weeks.  I enjoyed getting to know a new teacher.  I hope you will too! Synopsis:  The goal of this study is to get through the entire bible.  The weeks are broken down into daily homework sessions.  You will read the bible passages that relate to current topics of each week.  The beginning of each week begins with the session from the Lifeway website.  You have the option to include the video sessions from the actual study.  I found the sessions to be  affordable and they aren’t long videos.  Angie shares her heart and where she is going with this study and what she wants us to get out of it.   There are also review questions at the beginning of each week for group discussion.  My Thoughts:  I thought that Angie is ...
