To cast CATCHING AIR, I'd need three very different actresses - women who look nothing alike and can portray characters with wildly different personalities. I think Reese Witherspoon would be perfect for Kira, because she looks the part and because Reese does a great job portraying energetic, charming, type-A women. Kira is a little tightly wound, partly because running the B&B largely rests on her shoulders, and I think Reese could tap into those emotions with a real authenticity. Jennifer Lopez would be a wonderful Alyssa, because she radiates warmth with flashes of passion. Alyssa is a free spirit who has to adapt to one of life's big curveballs, and a woman like Jennifer, who has reinvented herself, would more than do the role justice.
