The Ideal Man by Julie Garwood

The Ideal Man by Julie Garwood I received this book from netgalley.com. I am excited for another privilege to review Julie Garwood’s work.

Synopsis:
Ellie Sullivan has been in hiding all of her life from her stalker Evan Patterson. She has been hiding in St. Louis working as a trauma surgeon. She finishes her last surgery and heads out for a quick run and witnesses a shooting of an FBI agent. Ellie is trying to finish everything up and get out of town for her sister’s wedding. Ellie is then recruited to perform the surgery of the downed agent. Max Daniels another FBI agent, has been trying to question Ellie about the shooting but has a hard time keeping her attention because of the constant interruptions by the hospital staff. Max finally gets an opportunity to talk to Ellie later that evening and questions her. Unknown to Ellie a hit man goes to the hospital to inquire about who Ellie is and where the agent is recuperating. She is finally able to head home to Winston Falls South Carolina for the wedding. Will Max find her in time? Is Evan going to make his presence in Ellie’s life again?

My Thoughts:

I was surprised at first that this novel did not follow in the Buchanan series. I liked the book. This is another book that people will thoroughly enjoy. This book is definitely a keeper.
