Beach Lane by Sherryl Woods

I was given this book to review by chicklitclub.com. This was the final book that I was asked to review.

Synopsis:

Susie and Mack have been friends for a longtime. Their situation is often referred to as nondating. Mack has decided that Susie is the only woman for him but how to convince her? Then he gets bad news that he was laid off by the newspaper he had been working for. Mack is so upset that he goes into hibernation avoiding his friends and Susie. He thinks if he waits to when he gets a new job then he can ask Susie to marry him. Then Susie finds out that she has some bad news, and refuses to share with Mack. Will they ever be able to coordinate their time together? Will they realize that some things can’t wait?

Thoughts

This book struck a chord with me because of the some of the issues the main protagonist has to deal with. I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more of this series.
