Oklahoma Weddings by Cathy Hake, Eileen Hake, and Jennifer Johnson

I was given this book by my Aunt Carol. I have read several books that are similar to this book in plot and theme. I love this genre of Inspirational fiction and the message to readers.

Story:

Sondra and Dylan meet at the funeral of their mutual friend Miller. He owns his own ranch and through his will makes Sondra and Dylan partners in his ranch. She got the house and he the ranch. Neither is happy with this arrangement at first, but soon they find that they enjoy each other’s company. Will they be able to meet the stipulations of his will?

Grace comes home from a mission’s trip and to find that her two cousins Jake and Lizzie are orphaned. Their parents were killed by a tornado and they were taken away from their other living relative. Jake and Lizzie while at the group home meet Nickels when he delivers the baby chicks to the children. Once the children leave the home Nickels decides he wants to keep the promise he made to Jake and comes to visit the family on a regular basis. This family of Grace’s comes to mean everything to Nickels. Will he be able to let go of his past to have a brighter future? Will Grace be able to accept God’s will for her life?

Victoria Thankful came to town in her suburban and totals Chris the mechanics car. She is here to visit with her sister in-law Sondra and discovers that she won’t’ have the money to pay to fix his car. She also has to deal with her father’s scandal. Victoria is asked to help Chris’s sister who has recently lost their mother. Will Victoria be able crash into Chris’s heart?

I liked this book. I felt it was a little predictable in the stories. I tend to find one story out shines the others.
