Kristy Woodson Harvey is a new author for me.  She is also one of the sweetest and extremely personable.  I have said for the last two summers that I would read one of her books. I will one day publish a book. I swear see I am holding my hand up with this promise. I have learned a lot over the years visiting with authors such as Jane Green, Emily Giffin, Mary Kay Andrews, Kristin Hannah, and more. One resource I decided to consult is See Jane Write A Girl’s Guide to Writing ChickLit by Sarah Mlynowski and Farrin Jacobs.  Sarah Mlynowski and Farrin Jacobs wanted to help amateur writers proceed through the steps to publication with advice, and how tos from of your favorite authors. Authors like Emily Giffin, Emma McLaughlin, Nicola Kraus, and Sophie Kinsella.  Sarah is a published author and knows the process well. Farrin is an editor and covers well what not to do portions of the book. They explain each step of the writing process. The book is structured a little differently then what readers are used to with a book on writing.  The book is written in different color fonts and backgrounds that are not typically seen in the adult book mar...

In my journey through the other side of cancer God has called me to a specific direction. He used a scene from the movie War Room to open my eyes to application of his word, the bible. I learn what it means to be a prayer warrior, in the Priscilla Shirer study Armor of God . I am healing from cancer and some changes have occurred both positive and negative. I prayed about my loneliness and God brought me to the next study, which is Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst . Have you ever felt less than, left out or lonely? For this review I will be discussing both the book and the Bible study guide. Both books have a beautiful cover! The bible study guide is divided into seven sessions. Each session begins with an outline of Lysa’s teaching. I am not going to go into great detail because I had no access to this teaching which was done on video. Is a comparison between Daisy Goodwin’ s debut The American Heiress and Downton Abbey? For those of us who have seen all the seasons of Downton Abbey and are waiting for the movie.
