What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty is the novel that helped put her on the big scene in the chick lit genre.   Each novel by Liane writes is better than the last.   This is the second novel of hers that I have read and shared here. Synopsis: Alice wakes up from an accident in spin class, but she thinks it is 1998.   She thinks she is twenty nine.   When in reality it is 2008 and she is thirty nine.   What has she forgotten? Her husband Nick and their current relationship status?   What will happen when Alice makes decisions that are hers alone that impact both the past and the present?   During the period that she cannot remember she had a friend Gina.   This friend had a great influence over Alice’s life.   When will her memories return? 2 nd Chance is the second novel in the Women’s Murder Club series by James Patterson with Andrew Gross.   I liked the first one and wanted to see what I thought about the second one in the series.   Does it make the series worth continuing? Synopsis: Lindsay is enjoying some time off when she gets the call about a shooting in a San Francisco neighborhood.   She has received a promotion since we last met her in First to Die .   The clues eventually lead to the main suspect of Chimera.    Who is he?   Will Lindsay be able to find him in time?   Call in the Women’s Murder Club of Jill, Cindy, and Claire.   Can they help Lindsay piece together case before more bodies show up? Next week I start my 2015 season of attending ComicCons and Fan Expos to promote my books so I thought it would be a good idea to write something about my experiences with those as the topic for this guest post. First of all, ComicCons and Fan Expos are an amazing place to make some personal contact with a lot of different people who don't yet realise that they are fans of your books. Particularly at the bigger events with high attendance the number of potential fans out there who have no idea who you are is quite large. And having the chance to chat with them and tell them all about your books is a great and rewarding opportunity. I always look forward to meeting people and seeing their reactions to the different book series that I have written. This "instant feedback" is also incredibly valuable for me in terms of the books I write in the future as well. Earlier I shared the book Becoming Myself by Stasi Eldredge, and now I am sharing about the eight session study guide.   This book is the companion and study guide to the material mentioned previously.   Now it is time to apply what you have learned! Synopsis: There are eight sessions that correspond to the chapters in the book.   There are instructions at the beginning of the sessions to let you know which chapters in the book to follow.   She asks questions included with scripture.   Ultimately asking how this impacts you?   Your relationship with God?   How do we move forward?
