Secrets to Southern Charm Review and Giveaway

Thank you to Gallery Books and Kristy Woodson Harvey for a copy of The Secrets to Southern Charm.  I also have another copy sent by Kristy up for grabs, in a giveaway.

Slightly South of Simple is the first book in the Peachtree Bluff series.  I reviewed it here.  The second book in the series is The Secrets to Southern Charm.  This book focuses on the middle sister Sloane.  Then there is also the drama between Ansley and Jack.   Are you ready for some more fun with this clan?

Synopsis:

Sloane is destined to be with Adam her soul mate.  Their souls are connected and each one can tell when something has happened.   She was given news at that Adam and his unit are missing in action with his unit.  Now it is months later and all she does is mourn Adam and the possibility he may never return.    The rest of the family has picked up the slack for her but will she ever accept her new future with Adam possibly not in it?  Or can she reclaim her identity?  Jack has moved next door into Ansley’s deceased neighbor’s house at Caroline’s suggestion.  Ansley of course thinking of her family and what damage her secret might do to the girls find out about Jack.  But does the secret really matter?

My Thoughts: 

I really enjoyed jumping back into Ansley’s family and their drama.  This book was an easy read.   This book covers the topics grief, loss, and secrets.   So what is The Secret to Southern Charm?  I feel that it revolves around family and how we can survive together.   You will have to read the book to find out more.   This family has become a familiar set of characters that I enjoy going back to visit.   I think I might need a reminder of how big Ansley’s house is to have all her family there.   I loved how Kristy took the character of Sloane on a journey of self-discovery and celebrate her passions.
