Nicholas Sparks Has Special Sight At First Sight
I love
Nicholas Spark’s books as audiobooks. They are often relaxing reads.
Synopsis:
Jeremy Marsh
is preparing to wed his bride to be Lexie Darnell. The main request she has made of Jeremy is
that he move to Boone Creek. Jeremy
makes the sacrifice to move to Boone Creek.
He and Lexie move forward with their plans for the wedding. The only problem is that Jeremy can’t
write. He has trouble feeling inspired
and then there are these cryptic e-mails.
Will the wedding happen? How will
life progress with Lexie?
My Thoughts:
When I think
of audiobooks my first choice is Nicholas Sparks. He has great books but I enjoy listening to
them more than reading. As much as I
love his work this book did not appeal as much as I would have liked it
to. I found the author’s description of
Boone Creek where this story is set very entertaining. I think that I found story to be slightly predictable..
One of the
conflicts within the book is the chance of love occurring at first sight. Love at first sight is the stuff of fairy
tales or is it real? Can you just fall
in love with someone and know they are perfect for you?
