Welcome to the Authors in Bloom Hop!  I am excited to host and be part of this year.   The hop runs from April 10th to  the 20th.  We will have an exciting giveaway here.  This giveaway will be open to US Residents only.  I am also going to share a recipe here.

The recipe I am sharing is one from my childhood and a favorite.  The recipe is for Lemon Torte:

There are four layers: 

First layer is :   One stick butter melted, l cup flour, and ¼ cup chopped pecans.  Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees, and let cool completely .You can also avoid this step by using a gramcracker crust.

Second layer:  Blend eight ounce package of cream cheese, one cup powdered sugar and one cup cool whip. 

Third layer:  Fix two packages of instant lemon pudding mix and only use 3 ½ cups of milk.  Once the pudding has set then add to the pan with the rest of the layers. 

The final layer is  cool whip on top.

    I have to say my favorite recipe would have to be apple crisp... It is my grandma's recipe which she taught my mom and my mom taught us girls...It is a favorite in my house. Thank you for being part of the hop.
