Review of The Wedding Quilt: An Elm Creek Quilt Novel by Jennifer Chiaverini

I was asked to review this book for chicklitclub.com.  I have never read any of Jennifer Chiaverini’s work.

Synopsis:

Sarah is welcoming her daughter Caroline and her fiancée Leo home to Elm Creek Manor.  They plan to marry at Caroline’s childhood home.  Her brother James also is hiding something.   Sarah is so busy seeing all the returning quilters and reminiscing about the romances of the different characters and one particular life changing event.    Sarah is also working on a special project for Caroline’s wedding.   Will she finish in time?  What secret is James hiding?   Will Caroline’s wedding go off without a hitch?

My Thoughts:

I found this book to be totally engrossing from start to finish. I am anxious to go back and read the other books in the series.   I loved learning about the characters in this book and how unique each one is.  I also enjoyed learning about quilts and how many different kinds there are.   A definite must read.
