Are You Ever Free From the Past?

 Who's up for a good thriller?  Sarah Pekkanen is good at taking people through many twists and turns.   Her book Gone Tonight is full of many twists and turns.  The story centers around a mother and her daughter.  Will they ever be safe?

My Thoughts: 

I liked the story of Mother and Daughter.  This story is told in alternate points of view of Ruth and Catherine. The chapters are short.  The author did a great job of only releasing so much information that I was able to keep my interest throughout the book.  The conclusion of the story was not what I was expecting.  I also found it interesting how far both the mother and daughter were willing to go to stay safe. This book is definitely worthy of beach read status.
