The Ultimate Enemy!

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for a copy of One Less Problem Without You by Beth Harbison.  I was given a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

You are in for a treat!  Have you ever had someone in your life who is the ultimate enemy?  This is the perfect novel to read next on your to be read pile.

Synopsis:

Prinny has known Leif Tiesman all her life.  He has been the step brother she would like to forget.  When their father dies and splits the inheritance 50/50.  Leif is always fighting to get what he feels is his fair share of the inheritance.  This can also include Prinny’s share.  She opens a shop named Cosmos which includes mystical merchandise.  Leif fights her step of the way.   One of her employees is Chelsea who only wants to get an acting job but also acts as the psychic at the store.  She also has an encounter with him.  Diana who is Leif’s wife has had enough and also joins the team at Cosmos.  She will serve herbal ties and run the tea bar.  So who will finally get rid of Leif?

My Thoughts:

What a great read!  I recently learned to appreciate when authors create great characters.  In One Less Problem Without You, Leif Tiesman is the ultimate villain.  Ms. Harbison should not be penalized for writing the ultimate antagonist.  This fact should highly recommend this novel because it is so good.   She creates such sympathy through Leif’s treatment of the other characters. The power that he had over these women at times was a turn off for me, but over all enjoyable.  The story is set in the District of Columbia.
