Follower Love Giveaway Hop February 5th - 11th

The Reader's Antidote  is cohosting this giveaway hop.  I am delighted to participate in this hop.  What is my  prize?  I am giving away three novels.  They are Viewer Discretion Advised by Cindy Roesel, The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty, and  In Shelter Cove by Barbara Freethy.

Charley Thomas is a news director that has recently received some bad news because she was fired from her job in LA.  What will she do next?   Her best friend Rori in Miami mentions a job possibility to Charley, and reminds her of a contact she had met before.  Her contact Jonathon Lefton the velvet axe who runs WCAR a local station in Miami.  He is known for putting talent on the air and getting great ratings.  Charley decides to work for him and so let the fun begin.  Will Charley survive the excitement that is Miami? Will she win over her new staff?

Ellen has a different profession than most.  Her business is Hypnotherapy.   In her family and love life this profession has met with mixed reviews.   Ellen’s mother is a doctor and raised her with two godmothers.   The boyfriends haven’t stood a chance until Patrick.  There is only one problem with this relationship besides Ellen’s family.  Patrick has a stalker!  Yes you heard correctly there is a stalker and her name is Saskia.  Ellen takes pity on Saskia which makes her relationship with Patrick interesting.  What will happen next? Will Ellen and Patrick survive this relationship?

I don’t have a review for Barbara’s novel In Shelter’s Cove.

To win these novels please list your e-mail address.  Tell me what makes a book a great read?  This giveaway is open to US only.

For me it has to be able to hold my attention. The writer's flow with words, the plot, the characters, it all adds up for a read that will keep me hooked :)

What make a great read? A story that takes me away from my problems; characters that involve me enough to care about what really happens to/with them; strong enough emotion to make me cry or actually laugh out loud; excitement or action to keep me from putting the book down...
Basically truly involving me in the story, putting me in as one of the characters and out of my own life. Escapism at its best ;)
