What Do You Want For Christmas?

Synopsis: 

Sebastian and Nicole have recently married and are preparing for the holidays in Nantucket.  They are located there because of the divorce between Sebastian and his first wife Catja.  He received the house on Nantucket.  Nicole swears this will be a Christmas to remember.  Even if it means putting up with Sebastian’s daughter Kennedy, who is slightly spoiled and very pregnant.  She would like nothing better than to see her parents back together and Nicole out of the picture.  Will she find Nicole a necessary part of the holiday?  Then there is a little dog named Snicks who needs a home, but will Nicole and Sebastian’s home be it?

My Thoughts:

This is my first Nancy Thayer novel. I don’t often discuss how much I have enjoyed a Christmas novel.  This it is short but entertaining!   Also who wouldn’t love a novel set on Nantucket?  I also enjoyed reading about the festivities on the island involving the Christmas holiday.  The characters are well developed and have depth.   The surprise character for me is the dog Snicks who brought warmth to story that I did not expect.   I enjoyed the tone of the novel.
